So! We now have 495 homes for sale in Midland, TX.  The real estate market has shifted, but it is not glutted and you are not in danger!  The real estate market is a little better balanced today than it was earlier this year, and that is a good thing.  We still have experienced over 18% appreciation of our homes, and that can never be a bad thing.

On a more personal note, we attended the funeral of Shawn Murphy, "Ghudda", for all you sports fans.  He was only 23 years old and was a very sweet young man.  He was the half-brother of my step-children, Quinten and Amanda, who are also grown.  The church was full and the Preacher did an excellent job, the graveside services were also packed with loving people, but at the end of the day, the family had to go home without that son/brother. Remember when you say goodbye that you may not see that person again on this earth.  Remember that in the big scheme of things the little tiffs, or big arguments, for that matter, are really not that important. Remember to tell the important people that you love them.  Remember. Today is dedicated to Shawn, and the people who loved him.
